The same block, split down the middle, which is the format that makes matched pairs possible from one source instead of two.

Half blocks exist for a reason that is entirely about yield and matching, and understanding that reason makes the form easier to buy.
A whole block carries material that a processor may never need — the part above the bedding that is too coarse, the corners. A half block arrives with a far higher proportion of saleable material, which shows up directly in the price per usable square metre even though the price per block is higher.
The matching benefit is the other half of the reason. Because each half carries both faces of the split, a matched set can come from one block rather than requiring two blocks to be chosen and hoped to correspond. For book-matched panels and for paired furniture pieces, that removes a variable that otherwise cannot be controlled.
Split ends are visible on both pieces and they match each other, which makes the half block the format where the bedding can be assessed from both sides. Look at them together before the order is placed.
As with the full block, the fill state is stated per piece. A consignment of half blocks can hold filled and unfilled material, and that has to be settled per piece rather than per order.
12-20 working days to FOB for standard forms; cut-to-size and matched sets are quoted per job. Send a thickness, a quantity, a finish and a destination port and you will have an FOB quotation, usually within three working days, with no obligation on a first shipment.
