An outdoor walking surface. Never polished, and usually brushed, because the requirement is grip on a wet surface rather than appearance.

A step is the one horizontal surface in a building that every visitor touches with the sole of a foot, often wet, often in the dark. That sets the specification completely: this form ships brushed and it should not be polished.
The thickness carries an outdoor-specific warning. At 30 mm an unfilled tread is fine dry and in a sheltered run. Where the tread is exposed to rain and to a hard winter, go to 40 mm, because the unfilled material loses more to frost spall over time than a filled one and there is no filler to support a thinning face.
The nosing is where most of the cost sits. An arris edge is square and cheap and chips; a bullnose costs more and survives. On an exterior step with an unfilled material, the bullnose is the cheaper decision over ten years even though it is the dearer one on the invoice.
12-20 working days to FOB for standard forms; cut-to-size and matched sets are quoted per job. Send a thickness, a quantity, a finish and a destination port and you will have an FOB quotation, usually within three working days, with no obligation on a first shipment.
